Disciplinary

As outlined in greater detail in the Gymnastics Ethics Foundation (GEF)’s Operational Rules, the GEF's Disciplinary Section is composed of the:

Disciplinary proceedings may be opened by the Director of the GEF based on the findings from an investigation into a complaint. These proceedings are governed by the FIG Code of Discipline, as well as international and Swiss law. The outcomes are communicated to the Director who is then responsible for informing all concerned parties.

Decisions taken by the Disciplinary Commission (DC) of the GEF must be implemented by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG). Following the decision of the FIG Congress in Doha on 26 October 2024 to repeal the GEF Appeal Tribunal (AT), decisions are appealable directly to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Decisions by the DC and AT are available here:

A list of sanctioned National Federations (NFs) and persons is available here.
