A new section on the website of the Gymnastics Ethics Foundation (GEF) provides links to a range of useful information in the important field of the safeguarding of athletes. Users can find information on independent national reviews, educational resources, policy documents and links to expert and athlete-led organisations.
GEF Director Alex McLin said: “Our key role is of course to strengthen the safeguarding of athletes and other participants in gymnastics from harassment and abuse, but we feel it is also important to share our knowledge and make it easily accessible to everyone interested. The new resources section on our website forms part of these efforts. The links listed in this section should not be understood as an exclusive list, but it’s a start and will remain work in progress.”
